Report: Multiple Teams Set to Pursue Horford Wednesday, June 22 According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers are all expected to attempt to sign the 30-year-old veteran.
Horford is coming off a 2015-16 campaign that saw him average 15.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, while shooting 50.5 percent from the field.
Those numbers were comparable to his production from the previous year, although his stats have been down a bit since a career year in 2012-13 that saw him put up 17.4 points per contest to go along with a personal-best 10.2 rebounds per game.
The former University of Florida standout is among the best and most consistent bigs in the NBA. His versatility is a huge reason for that, as he has proven capable of excelling at both power forward and center at both ends of the floor.
