Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry isn't taking Monday's Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder lightly despite his team winning the past two contests and holding home court at Oracle Arena.
Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN.com shared what Curry had to say prior to tipoff of the decisive Western Conference Finals showdown:
Just because we're showing up at Oracle tonight doesn't mean we're guaranteed a win. We have to play with that same kind of force and allow the whole kind of atmosphere to take over.
[...] It didn't pan out how we wanted it going into this series. We're taking a different journey, but at the end of the day we have 48 minutes to claw ourselves out of the grave and advance. What more could ask for? It's going to be a fun night.
Curry poured in 31 points in Game 6's 108-101 road victory and had as many points in Game 5 to help Golden State get up off the mat. Now the Warriors have the opportunity to become the 10th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 playoff deficit.
