Warriors 118, Thunder 91—Final
Stephen Curry's 17-point third quarter propelled the Golden State Warriors to a 118-91 thumping of the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 on Wednesday night.
Golden State—which evened the Western Conference Finals at one victory apiece—held a 64-57 edge during the frame before Curry scored 15 straight, building a 20-point lead entering the fourth quarter.
Curry finished with 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting. He nailed 5-of-8 three-point attempts, and the team connected on 13 of its 28 long-range looks.
The Warriors outscored OKC 61-42 in the second half, when Kevin Durant scored just six of his 29 points. Durant had eight turnovers, and Russell Westbrook only netted 16 points.
Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET in Oklahoma City.
