Reggie Miller had a front-row seat at Oracle Arena as Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry broke his record for the most consecutive postseason games (45) with a made three-pointer.
Curry set the record Monday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder:
The reigning two-time MVP last year overtook Miller for the most made threes (98) in a single postseason, per Basketball-Reference.com. Curry entered Monday night only 208 three-pointers away from breaking Ray Allen's record for the most all time in the postseason.
Curry seems to have recovered from the sprained MCL that kept him out for four games across the first and second rounds of the playoffs. He returned for Games 4 and 5 of the conference semifinals against the Portland Trail Blazers and combined to score 69 points and dish out 19 assists as the Warriors closed out the series.
Curry looked none the worse for wear when he nailed five straight attempts from the half-court logo before Monday's matchup with Oklahoma City, per Sports on Earth's Erik Malinowski:
