Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts led the team to a shockingly good season in 2015-16, but his future with the franchise remains in question.

Report: Stotts Not a Lock to Remain with Blazers Saturday, May 14 Despite going 44-38 and winning a playoff series following a difficult offseason, Stotts is not guaranteed to be Portland's coach in 2016-17, according to rumors Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times is hearing.

Few expected the Blazers to reach the postseason after superstar forward LaMarcus Aldridge signed with the San Antonio Spurs last offseason, but they did precisely that thanks to the dynamic backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum.

It marked the team's third consecutive playoff appearance under Stotts, who holds a 182-146 record in four years at the helm in Portland.

The Blazers have a team option for 2016-17 on the 58-year-old coach, which means they could either keep him for one more year or let him go.
