Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop suffered a non-contact knee injury during the first period of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Pittsburgh Penguins. It's unclear when Bishop will return to the lineup.

Bishop Out for Game 2 vs. Penguins  Monday, May 16 Bishop was not available for Monday's Eastern Conference Final matchup against the Penguins, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman announced on Saturday Bishop was day-to-day, per Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.

"I was really scared. I thought my leg was broken," Bishop told reporters, adding that it was "a feeling he's never felt" before.

Cooper Comments on Bishop's X-Rays Friday, May 13 "Everything came back negative, so we're hoping for the best," Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
