Keith Appling Reportedly Arrested for Loaded Assault Rifle at Strip Club

Former Michigan State Spartan and Orlando Magic guard Keith Appling was reportedly arrested on Sunday night.

Justin Rose of WXYZ in Detroit cited sources on Monday who said Appling "was arrested over the weekend in Dearborn at a strip club with a loaded AK-47."

Tara Edwards of WXYZ.com confirmed the arrest occurred on Sunday night. She also noted "it is not clear what Appling was allegedly planning to do with the weapon."

Edwards reported Appling's case will be given to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, and the guard is in jail at the Dearborn Police Department.

Appling's agent, Ronald Shade, said he hadn't heard from his client since the reported arrest, per Oralandar Brand-Williams of the Detroit News: "The last time I heard, he was traveling from L.A. with his daughter back to Detroit to start working out. So that's all I know at this point."
