Gerald Henderson, Anderson Varejao Ejected from Warriors vs Trail Blazers Game 1

Things got heated in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals between the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors on Sunday, leading to the ejection of Blazers guard Gerald Henderson and Warriors forward Anderson Varejao.   

Per Jason Quick of Comcast SportsNet Northwest, referee Monty McCutchen tossed Varejao—on Golden State's bench—and Henderson—in the nearest corner at the three-point line—after the two exchanged words.

Multiple incidents involving Henderson and Varejao during the third quarter led to their ejections. 

The first took place with approximately three-and-a-half minutes remaining in the period, as Henderson fell to the floor when Varejao's leg appeared to swipe his legs out from under him:



Both players received technical fouls for that altercation, but Varejao and Henderson weren't done. They began jawing back and forth as time was winding down in the third quarter. McCutchen saw it and immediately called another double technical:
