Dorell Wright to Heat: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Miami Heat bolstered their roster Tuesday, signing veteran forward Dorell Wright.  



Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald first reported the done deal, noting Wright went to dinner with Dwyane Wade and Quentin Richardson on Monday night.

Wright, 30, last played for the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2014-15 season. He's been with the Beikong Fly Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association since August of last year, averaging 24.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game during the regular season.

The former first-round pick spent his first six years in Miami, emerging from a seldom-used high schooler to a vital bench piece. He's since played for the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers in addition to Portland.
