New York Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh will miss at least the final three games of the regular season as he recovers from what is reported to be a broken hand.

Severity of McDonagh's Injury Reportedly Revealed Wednesday, April 6 Larry Brooks of the New York Post reported that McDonagh has "a small break of the metacarpal bones in the right hand."

Latest on McDonagh's Return Timeline Tuesday, April 5 The team announced on Tuesday that the blueliner will be "sidelined indefinitely" as a result of the injury. The Rangers previously recalled Brady Skjei to fill the void, per Steve Zipay of Newsday.

McDonagh's Health Vital for Rangers' Title Hopes It's an unfortunate turn of events for the Rangers, which clinched a playoff berth with a 4-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday night.
