New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis suffered a left knee injury during Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers and was ruled out with knee soreness. He is also dealing with a shoulder injury. It is unclear when he will be able to return to the court.

Gentry Comments on Davis' Injuries

"Obviously he has an injury on his knee and something with his shoulder," head coach Alvin Gentry said, per John Reid of NOLA.com. "I think they are going to talk to doctors this afternoon and we'll know a lot more then."
"I wouldn't say no to that," Gentry said when asked if the Pelicans would be more inclined to end Davis' season, per Reid. "I think we got to be smart collectively, along with him. Like I said, I think we'll know a lot more after they talk to doctors today."
