The San Antonio Spurs (50-9) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 104-94 win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday at the Toyota Center.
San Antonio was led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored 27 points on 8-of-13 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and 16 rebounds. Tim Duncan led the team in assists with six.
The Rockets battled back from a 30-point deficit in the second half behind a big effort from James Harden, who scored 27 points on 10-of-25 shooting. A pair of Rockets, Corey Brewer and Jason Terry, each scored 15 off the bench.
San Antonio won the season series, 3-1.
