Andre Miller to Sign with Spurs: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

The San Antonio Spurs' stable of point guards received a boost Saturday, as veteran floor general Andre Miller agreed to sign on for the remainder of the regular season and vie for a shot at an elusive NBA title.

The Vertical's Shams Charania first reported that Miller had committed to the Spurs after agreeing to terms on a buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Miller's agent, Andy Miller, confirmed his client intends to sign with the Spurs, per Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.

Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported the Spurs plan to waive guard Ray McCallum to make room for Miller, but Miller must first pass a physical.

Miller—who's averaging 3.4 points and 2.2 assists—is hardly a flashy signing, but that's exactly why he's a perfect fit for the no-nonsense Spurs.
