Stephen Curry Ties NBA Single-Game Record for 3-Pointers vs. Thunder

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry tied an NBA record with 12 three-pointers made on Saturday night in his team's 121-118 overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Matt Moore of CBS Sports.

Curry joined Donyell Marshall and Kobe Bryant as the only players to have made 12 three-point shots in a game.

He also hit the game-winning shot in overtime, sinking a three from nearly half court to earn the win.

Even his fellow NBA players were left amazed by the spectacle, including LeBron James (via ESPN):

It wasn't the only record Curry reached on the night, as he's also now made 288 three-pointers on the season, breaking the mark for three-point shots made in a season he set last season with 286. The Warriors also clinched a playoff berth with their 53rd win, the fastest a team has ever assured a postseason berth in NBA history, topping the 1986 Boston Celtics by one day, per Moore.

The Warriors are now an incredible 55-5 on the season and within striking distance of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls record of 72 wins in the regular season.
