In what was a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview, Kyle Lowry rose to the occasion.

Lowry scored a career-high 43 points and sank what ended up being the game-winning jumper with 3.8 seconds left to lift the Toronto Raptors to a 99-97 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Air Canada Centre on Friday night.

This certainly looked like the best performance of Lowry's career.

With the Raptors trailing 91-82 with just over four minutes left, Lowry took complete control of the game, shredding whomever was defending him for buckets, and-1s and dribble penetration to set up his teammates.

Then, after a great defensive possession by Toronto with just over 26 seconds left, Lowry milked the clock and then buried a long two-pointer right in Matthew Dellavedova's grill to cap an extraordinary effort and give the Raptors the win.

Lowry shot 15-of-20 from the floor and went 11-of-15 from the free-throw line. He also added nine assists.

DeMar DeRozan was battling flu-like symptoms all game, and a result, he finished with six points off 1-of-11 shooting, but thanks to Lowry, that didn't matter in the end.
