Duncan Finishes Game Without Any Points for 2nd Time in Career

San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan had a quiet game in Wednesday's 108-92 win over the Sacramento Kings, finishing without any points for just the second time in his 1,373 career regular-season NBA appearances, per ESPN Stats & Info.

The future Hall of Famer logged 12 minutes and didn't play at all in the fourth quarter, with his final stat line consisting of just two rebounds and two fouls in his team's third consecutive road victory over a subpar opponent.

Though still a valuable part of his team, the 39-year-old Duncan has taken a big step backward in statistical terms this season, averaging career-low marks in minutes (25.1), points (8.4), rebounds (7.4) and blocks (1.3), with a career-worst field-goal percentage of 48.1.

Unsurprisingly, his only other NBA appearance without any points occurred earlier this season. He managed four rebounds and two assists but missed all three of his field-goal attempts over 14 minutes in a Jan. 2 win over the Houston Rockets.
