Two teams heading in opposite directions will meet in Portland on Thursday when the hot Portland Trail Blazers (30-27) host the cold Houston Rockets (28-29) as consensus 4.5-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

Portland has won six straight games overall along with 11 of 12, going 9-3 against the spread during that longer stretch. Houston has dropped four of five and seven of 10, with a 4-5-1 mark ATS.

The Blazers have used a strong offense to overpower opponents during their winning streak, averaging 114.7 points, with the over cashing in their last five. They have gotten great production from their starting backcourt of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, who each scored 34 points in a 112-104 victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

While Portland did not cover the spread as an 11.5-point home favorite, the team was able to win handily despite trailing with less than five minutes remaining.
