The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the teams potentially interested in making a splash before it passes at 3 p.m. ET Thursday.
The Cavaliers made multiple trades in the weeks leading up to the deadline in 2015, acquiring J.R. Smith, Timofey Mozgov and others last January.
Those trades appeared to indicate that Cleveland general manager David Griffin is willing to be active and shake things up if he doesn't believe his roster is built to contend for a title.
