It was obvious Bosh tried to do all he could to play in the game, as he waited until Friday to make the decision, but in the end, staying healthy for the regular season—and his future in general—won out. He missed 38 games last season while suffering from blood clots in his lungs, which originally stemmed from blood clots in his leg.
The 31-year-old doesn't feel like this is a repeat of that, per Helin:
