Since Kobe Bryant announced his retirement, Kobe Fever has run rampant across the NBA and has been expressed in a variety of fashions, from personalized tributes to abundant All-Star voting.

Even the Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green was not immune.

After hosting the Black Mamba in Oracle Arena for the last time, the versatile power forward acknowledged his respect for Bryant (with a side of awe and reverence), and No. 24 responded in kind.

He not only gifted Green his game-worn kicks but also embellished the signature sneakers with an autograph and handwritten dedication telling the 25-year-old to "Make History."

Could it be that the longtime California superstar is passing the torch?

Considering the dominant performances Green has been turning in, churning out triple-doubles along the way, living up to his idol's inscription may not be so hard.
