Russell Westbrook had a triple-double, Dion Waiters scored 25 points off the bench and the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the Washington Wizards, 124-101, at the Verizon Center on Tuesday night.

There was hype surrounding impeding free agent Kevin Durant prior to the game, as there has been rampant speculation that Durant could leave the Thunder for the Wizards next summer.

Not only was the score of the contest anti-climactic, but Durant did not even come out for the second half after straining his left hamstring late in the second quarter.

Durant posted 14 points and 10 rebounds in 17 minutes and heard some boos whenever he touched the ball, possibly due to the 2014 MVP calling Washington "disrespectful" for trying to recruit him during a game last season (per Michael Lee of Yahoo! Sports).

Bradley Beal (shoulder) sat this contest out for the Wizards.

Westbrook recorded 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in just 28 minutes. The floor general shot 7-of-17 from the floor and buried three three-pointers.

As a team, Oklahoma City went 15-of-23 from beyond the arc and shot 51.2 percent overall.
