Most NBA fans know who Amar'e Stoudemire and Chris Bosh are, but for a youngster, telling the two Miami Heat big men apart can be challenging.
Stoudemire and some Heat staffers made a trip to Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) Elementary School on Monday to kick off the new school year. While posing for photos and handing out gifts was fun for the 32-year-old Stoudemire, he got the biggest kick out of a bit of mistaken identity.
Per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, one child wasn't quite sure who Stoudemire was:
That confusion made Stoudemire laugh, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel:
In the kid's defense, both Stoudemire (6'10") and Bosh (6'11") are tall men. Considering that Stoudemire only joined the Heat this past summer, the student may not be familiar with the big man yet.
Regardless, this interaction would have been hilarious to see in person.
