LeBron James, Stephen Curry Headline List of 2015’s Most Popular NBA Jerseys

LeBron James' return to Cleveland last offseason meant that his old Cavaliers jerseys were en vogue again, which helped him lead the NBA in jersey sales once more.  

According to ESPN.com's Arash Markazi, King James paced the field, with Golden State Warriors guard and MVP candidate Stephen Curry trailing close behind in second:



Per NBA.com, this marks the sixth consecutive season in which James has had the best-selling jersey in the league. The rankings were based on the retail sales from NBAStore.com throughout the regular season.

Plenty of other stalwarts landed in the top 15 as well, but Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant's position at No. 3 is somewhat surprising. Bryant missed the bulk of the season with a torn rotator cuff suffered in January but is such a transcendent star that his jersey still sells in a big way.

From a team perspective, no franchise sold more jerseys than the Chicago Bulls, according to NBA.com on Twitter:
