When the 17-7 Dallas Mavericks take on the first-place Golden State Warriors Saturday in a pivotal Western Conference matchup, they will do so without forward Chandler Parsons.
According to Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com, the 26-year-old star has officially been ruled out:
Per Mark Followill of Fox Sports, Parsons is dealing with a back injury:
The former University of Florida standout has been a key player during his first season with the Mavs. He is third on the team with over 16 points per game, and he is averaging over five rebounds and two assists per contest as well.
Without a fantastic athlete like Parsons to contend with, the Warriors have a golden opportunity to improve to 20-2 on the year.
