The New York Rangers used a five-goal third period to stun the Minnesota Wild Monday night at Madison Square Garden. The 5-4 victory moves New York's record to 5-4 on the season, while the Wild fall to 4-3.

Mats Zuccarello's goal with 3:11 left in the third period, New York's second goal in a span of 37 seconds, gave the Rangers the lead for good. Anthony Duclair's game-tying goal was the first of his career. Rick Nash added his ninth goal of the season, tying him with Anaheim's Corey Perry for the league lead.

The Wild built a big lead by scoring three goals in the second period. Two of those came within a 55-second span. Zach Parise left briefly in the second after taking a blow to the head, but he came back later in the period with stitches under his nose.

New York had two players earn game misconducts (John Kreider and John Moore) but neither penalty affected the game. Both players could be facing suspensions.

The Rangers don't play again until Saturday, when they host Winnipeg. Minnesota gets right back at it Tuesday against Boston.
