"Bradley Beal is injured." It's a sentence that has been written far too frequently throughout the 21-year-old's promising career.
Unfortunately, it's time to dust off those familiar words once again.
The Washington Wizards shooting guard, who has missed time in each of his first two seasons with a slew of various ailments, is dealing with a wrist injury sustained during Friday's preseason contest against the Charlotte Hornets.
The Wizards released a statement on the injury:
Wizards guard Bradley Beal underwent an MRI exam today that revealed a non-displaced fracture of the scaphoid bone in his left (non-shooting) wrist that will require surgery.

A timeline for Beal’s recovery will be announced following his surgery.
