If you missed Friday night's contest between the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards at the Staples Center, you missed one of the most awkward fights in recent sports history. With less than three minutes left in the game, Lakers swingman Nick Young got tangled up with crusty old Wizards big man Drew Gooden, leading to scuffle that looked more like a poorly rehearsed segment of Dancing with the Stars.

Gooden earned a fine from the league for his arm-grabbing stunt, per Sports Illustrated's Ben Golliver:

As a sideshow to that main event, L.A.'s Jordan Hill got into a bizarre bear-hugging match with Washington center Marcin Gortat. Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal rushed over to aid his teammate...until he realized their wasn't really any actual fighting going on.
