Among active players, only Jaromir Jagr (1,459), Teemu Selanne (1,440), Ray Whitney (1,321) and Shane Doan (1,301) have suited up for more NHL contests.
Meanwhile, Iginla has notched a team-high 23 goals for the surging Bruins, who have reeled off eight straight wins, a roll that has landed the team atop the NHL's Eastern Conference standings, with 95 points in 67 games. During the team's win streak, Iginla has been a key contributor, recording nine points.
Overall, the 36-year-old right winger has notched 53 points in 67 contests for the Bruins, good for second on the team, behind David Krejci, who centers Iginla's line.
