It wasn't easy for the Indiana Pacers, but they'll take any win they can get right now.
Behind 24 points from David West and an impressive debut by Andrew Bynum, the Pacers beat the Boston Celtics, 94-83, on Tuesday night, snapping their four-game losing streak.
Bynum had eight points and 10 rebounds in 16 minutes, clearly making his impact felt on the offensive end of the floor. He demanded the ball in the post, scored some easy buckets inside and made some great passes.
Still, Indiana can't be too thrilled with the way this one turned out.
The Pacers led by 15 late in the third quarter, only to see the Celtics battle back almost immediately. It was a single-digit contest for most of the fourth period, with Boston drawing to within one at one point.
The C's grabbed 20 offensive rebounds (seven by Jared Sullinger) compared to only eight for Indiana, and despite the fact that the Pacers outshot the Celtics 54.8 percent to 35.2 percent, Frank Vogel's club had to scratch and claw its way to a victory.
