The San Antonio Spurs (47-16) rode a monstrous first half on the way to a 104-97 victory on the road over the Chicago Bulls (35-29) on Tuesday.
The Spurs outscored the Bulls in the first two frames 61-33, giving themselves a big enough lead to coast for the final 24 minutes of game time.
Manu Ginobili scored a team-high 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting off the bench for San Antonio. No Chicago guard could stay in front of him, as he actively attacked all game.
Four other Spurs reached double-figures, including Tony Parker with 20.
The Bulls looked defeated from the start of the first quarter, but their bench provided a bolt of energy down the stretch to make the score respectable.
Backup point guard D.J. Augustin led the team with 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
Jimmy Butler was Chicago's most consistent starter Tuesday. He added 23 points.
