With Valentine's Day recently passed, apparently love is still in the air. The Denver Nuggets and disgruntled point guard Andre Miller are working to kiss and make up after a confrontation between head coach Brian Shaw and the 15-year veteran back on Dec. 30.
The point guard ripped Shaw following a loss to the 76ers, which was the team's eighth consecutive loss.
"There's a time and place for everything," Shaw said, according to Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post. "In the middle of the arena in front of everyone ... I just tried to calm it down."
Asked if Miller understood the reasons for his one-game seat on the bench, Shaw said, "You'll have to ask him."
According to Ken Berger of CBSSports.com, the Nuggets have recently brought Miller back in the fold for a workout, with thoughts of eventually having him return to the team.
Facing a difficult trade market and a glaring hole at the point guard position, Nuggets officials worked out the banished Andre Miller this week in New Orleans and are considering bringing him back, league sources told CBSSports.com.
