NHL’s 2014 Stadium Series Game at Dodger Stadium Has Plenty to Offer

The NHL's 2014 Stadium Series will visit Dodger Stadium on Jan. 25. Let's just say that the league is going Hollywood for the game.

Not only will there be a rink for the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings to play on, but there will be plenty of festivities going on around it.

The Kings shared the uniforms that they will be wearing during warm-ups:



According to the Los Angeles Times' Helene Elliott, Wayne Gretzky will be honored at the game. Also, the field will be packed with different types of activities: 

A rendering provided to The Times shows many wondrous sights that will be constructed on the field—an avenue of palm trees separating a beach volleyball court in left field from a performance stage in right field, an inline skating rink near home plate, and the rink stretching across the infield—but having Gretzky in the house might be the most splendid vision of all.

Nothing says hockey like palm trees and beach volleyball.
