Metta World Peace Says Knicks Have ‘Stacked’ Roster

Oh, Metta World Peace. Please never change. 

When asked by USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt about his role when he eventually returns from his left knee problems, he delivered what can only be considered the quintessential MWP response. Rather than stopping at saying that he'd be playing behind Carmelo Anthony, the headline-making forward said, "This team is stacked."

Stop. Pause. Let it simmer. 

The New York Knicks, a team that has been the laughingstock of the league thanks to a struggling and ill-formed roster, a complete lack of quality coaching, poor decision-making and an 8-18 record, are "stacked?" 

Just to double-check, let's go over what that word means. To the best of my knowledge, it means that the entity in question has been blessed with an abundance of positive traits, to the point that it's unfair for the other entities in that category. 



Are the Knicks blessed with an abundance of positive basketball skills, making it unfair for the rest of the teams in the NBA?
