Chicago Bulls star small forward Luol Deng will miss Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons at the United Center with an achilles injury.
ESPN's Nick Friedell reported the news:
Deng confirmed it is an Achilles injury, not a calf injury like Thibs said. He also said he got an MRI but the results came back OK.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau initially said Deng injured his calf, which was reported by the Bulls' official Twitter account:

Pistons.com's Keith Langlois speculated that Taj Gibson would start in Deng's place as part of a bigger lineup, while Mike Dunleavy would come off the bench to provide a scoring spark:
