The losing streak is over!
After having lost 11 straight games to the Memphis Grizzlies (9-10), the Golden State Warriors (12-9) were finally able to secure a victory over a team that's clearly had their number over the past few years.
Klay Thompson was lights out for the Warriors, shooting 12-of-19 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range. He finished with a game-high 30 points (16 of which came in the opening quarter).
Golden State is now 6-1 this season when he scores 25 or more points and 14-3 all-time when he hits 27.
David Lee had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, which is his fourth 20-point, 10-rebound game of the year. Stephen Curry also chipped in a double-double of his own with 22 points and 15 assists.
The Warriors only had a 49-43 lead at halftime, but a 28-17 third quarter is what really opened the score up. Memphis was never able to recover.
Quincy Pondexter suffered a right midfoot sprain in the first half. He didn't return.
