Although the NHL will still sport a few mustaches thanks to the likes of coaches Paul MacLean and Joel Quenneville—whose 'stache has its own Twitter account which tracks other facial hair movement throughout the month of November, when the lip warmer is all the rage in support of prostate cancer prevention and awareness—most players have sharpened their razors.

Like the mullet, the hockey 'stache is past its prime in the fashion department.

We'll always have Montreal Canadiens scrapper George Parros, whose thick upper lip is actually at its weakest in November when he re-grows it from scratch every season because he lets it run wild every other month of the year. But let's take a moment to pay tribute to some of the best in the league this year.
