Jeff Green is having himself one fine weekend, and he is taking the Boston Celtics along for the ride.
On Friday night, Green made the highlights with a vicious dunk over the Magic's Jason Maxiell during Boston's 91-89 victory in Orlando.
Green and the Celtics faced a much stiffer test on Saturday against LeBron James and the defending-champion Miami Heat, and Green rose to the challenge with this astonishing fade-away, buzzer-beating three-pointer over none other than King James himself to give Boston the 111-110 victory.
That three aside, Green starred for the Celtics, scoring a team-high 24 points on 8-for-16 shooting.
With the win, Boston finished off a two-night, back-to-back sweep of both Florida NBA teams. That should please the roughly five million New England retirees currently living in the Sunshine State.
