The Vancouver Canucks have extended the superstar tandem of Henrik and Daniel Sedin through the 2017-18 NHL season, according to the team's official Twitter account on Friday:

Canucks fans have to be pleased with management's decision to extend the Sedin twins. At age 33, the duo certainly has loads of elite hockey left to showcase. Plus, the two offensive weapons have been tearing it up on the ice for Vancouver to start the new season, combining to score nine goals and dish out 24 assists.
The performances of both Henrik and Daniel have been key for the Canucks' fast start and Henrik, who plays center for the Canucks, is tied for second in the league in points this season with 18 through 15 games played. His 15 assists thus far are tops in the NHL.
