And how many of you thought the Islanders would press the Penguins to the verge of a series loss?
Well, if your predictions didn't work out so well then, the second round affords you another opportunity to remedy them.
There are two classic, Original Six matchups as the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks face off in the Western Conference while the Bruins and Rangers go toe to toe in the East. Then the battle of California pits the San Jose Sharks and the defending Stanley Cup-champion Los Angeles Kings against one another.
Of course, the final series offers plenty of intrigue as the Penguins face the Ottawa Senators. Remember, it was Matt Cooke of the Penguins that lacerated the Achilles tendon of Erik Karlsson from Ottawa.
