Ryane Clowe to Rangers: San Jose Sharks Trade Winger to New York

Another trade that could affect the NHL playoff landscape has gone through on Tuesday afternoon.

The San Jose Sharks have reportedly agreed to trade winger Ryane Clowe to the New York Rangers, a deal that requires Clowe to waive his no-trade clause.

Bruce Garrioch is also reporting that the Sharks and Rangers have a deal in place that will include draft picks returning to San Jose:

The 30-year-old winger was drafted in 2001 by San Jose, and has played in 28 games this season. He has accounted for a surprising zero goals and 11 assists thus far, averaging 16:28 minutes on the ice per contest in what has been considered a down season.
