Teams That Should Be Buyers and Sellers at the NHL Trade Deadline

The way clubs react at the trade deadline to the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins will be one of the more interesting storylines on April 3.

Chicago's dominance out west will certainly force the narrowly-trailing Ducks to bolster their lineup, making them buyers at the deadline. The same goes for other teams, the Kings in particular, who must keep up in the arms race with Chicago.

The same is true in the East, where the streaking Penguins jumped out ahead of the deadline and made two moves—acquiring Brenden Morrow from the Dallas Stars and Douglas Murray from the Sharks.

Those moves will force the hand of other contenders, namely Boston, to add offense (say, Jarome Iginla) in order to keep up with the white-hot Pens. Ray Shero's aggressiveness in the market may also be the tipping point for borderline playoff teams who may cut their losses and become definite sellers.

So, who ultimately should buy and sell? Watch the latest clip from BR to find out and comment below.
