NHL Trade Rumors: Most Recent Buzz around the League

The NHL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and several teams have some crucial decisions to make. 

A condensed schedule has produced a condensed playoff picture. With just over a week remaining until the deadline, nearly every team in the league can still legitimately, with a straight look on their face, call themselves contenders for the postseason.

As a result, you may see more teams staying put than usual.

But that hasn't stopped the rumors from swirling through the league, as they tend to do. Let's take a look at the most recent buzz. 

 

Miikka Kiprusoff and Other Flames



The Calgary Flames have 26 points through 29 games. They currently sit in a tie for last place in the West and are one of very few teams not on the aforementioned "staying put" list.

Instead, it's time to sell for Bob Hartley and company.
