As the 2013 NHL season continues, the April 3 trade deadline will creep up on teams before they know it.
Since the season is so short, general managers aren't offered the usual kind of time to decide whether or not to make a move. Hesitating too long could result in putting the team in too dire a situation on the ice that no move would possibly be able to right the ship in time.
With a little over a month left to make trades, the window is still open for GMs to start wheeling and dealing, and the rumors are only going to heat up. Here are three potential roster moves that will be interesting to follow.
Daniel Alfredsson on the Move?
As or right now, the Ottawa Senators are firmly in the playoff picture. They're in seventh place, four points ahead of the New York Rangers. It's a rather uneasy lead, though, as the Senators have played two more games than both the Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning, who are just on the fringe.
