Chicago Wolves: December 3-9 Week in Review

In light of this NHL lockout—which seems like it may never end—I will start covering the Chicago Wolves on a weekly basis for the remainder of the season.

For a recap of how they've done so far, please check out Carol Schram's update from Nov. 27. At that point in time, the Wolves weren't looking pretty, sitting 11th in the conference. 

Between Nov. 27 and the beginning of the week, the Wolves went 1-2-0-0, losing against the Rockford IceHogs and the Milwaukee Admirals before defeating the Peoria Rivermen at home to kick off December.

The Wolves played just two games in the week of Dec. 3-9, picking up one win and one loss. As of Dec. 9, The Wolves remain 11th in the West with a 10-9-2-1 record. 

Fri, Dec. 7: Grand Rapids @ Chicago



The Wolves suited up against the Detroit Red Wings' farm team at home Friday. The Griffins are currently the No. 2 team in the West, with Tomas Tatar and Gustav Nyquist leading the team offensively.
