Lamar Odom: Is This Really The Time For Lamar Odom To Join Reality Show?
As the Los Angeles Lakers come out of a 4-4 stretch over their last eight games, news has surfaced that forward Lamar Odom will become a reality television star with wife, Khloe Kardashian.
As the Lakers work out their issues on the court, many wonder if the show will be a distraction as it plans to feature Odom and his time on the court.
Odom though, is not the same guy he was earlier in his career and has matured in the eyes of players and coaches. He does not see the show as a distraction, but an opportunity.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson chimed in and said, "Lamar doesn't usually get distracted by outside things."
A vote of confidence from the coach is certainly a boost for any nervous fans or skeptics and if Odom continues to perform at an All-Star level - 15.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3 assists in 35 minutes - the Laker fans should not be worried about Odom's "life" being taped.
