Welcome to B/R's live blog of the gold medal game of the 2010 FIBA World Championships, where we see if Team USA can complete its quest by becoming the first U.S. team to win gold at the World Championships in 16 years.

Standing in Team USA's way will be the host nation, Turkey, and 15,000 screaming Turkish fans in the stands. After Turkey's thrilling, last-second 83-82 victory over Serbia yesterday, the environment was repeatedly described as "bedlam." Can you imagine what it's going to be like today, with only Team USA standing between Turkey and the gold?

I'm Bryan Toporek, the NBA Team Leader for B/R, and I'll be guiding you through the next two hours of action.  Let's hope we're talking about a gold medal in a few hours, eh?
