NBA Rumors: Houston Rockets’ Center Yao Ming Could Call it a Career

A lot of injuries have been happening to Yao Ming lately. One was so bad, he had to miss the whole 2009-10 regular season. Ming has had a problem with his foot, and if it keeps bugging him, he could call it a career.

“If the foot injury does not heal next season, I might choose to call it quits,” he said.

The 30-year-old hasn’t lost all hope, as the Houston Rockets say he has been doing well lately in training camp. Ming also did pretty good even with his injury, as a video leaked of him making over 90 of the 100 free throws he attempted.

The Rockets shouldn’t worry if Ming is out for a few months, as they just signed seven-footer Brad Miller to a deal. And this could take all the load off Ming for a little bit, as both will be sharing valuable minutes at the position.

Many think Ming will not play in the 2012 Olympics in London for China. Ming thinks so, too.
