Vincent Lecavalier Keys Tampa Bay Lightning in Milestone-Filled Win

The Tampa Bay Lightning entered Friday night's home finale against the Florida Panthers with a chance to reach some personal and team milestones. After the 4-2 victory, they had reached those milestones.

Captain Vincent Lecavalier's two goals, one on a penalty shot and one on the power play, led the Bolts as they tied the franchise record for home wins with 25 and surpassed 100 points in a season for only the second time in franchise history.

Vinny's two goals also got him to 350 in his NHL career.

He wasn't alone, though.

Ryan Malone scored a goal while on his back, as the puck was deflected past Panthers goaltender Scott Clemmensen after Clemmensen hit his defenseman on the pads, causing the puck to change direction.

Pavel Kubina, playing in his 900th NHL game, also scored on a second-period power play.

Goaltender Dwayne Roloson, in what was likely his last regular-season start this year as Mike Smith is expected to start in Carolina Saturday night, was superb, stopping 23 of 25 shots by the Panthers while Clemmensen stopped 29 of 33 Lightning shots.
