Toronto Maple Leafs Call Up Top Prospect Nazem Kadri And Keith Aulie

Yes, you read that right.

Desperate for some offense the Toronto Maple Leafs have stopped juggling lines after going through every combination imaginable.

They have called up Nazem Kadri and Keith Aulie.

Keith Aulie will probably make his NHL debut this Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks. Built to play a similar style to Luke Schenn and Mike Komisarek he is all defense, all the time.

Good news for Aulie, bad news for Jeff Finger.

While almost all the defenseman have been called up, Finger has not. This is a sign that his tenure as a Toronto Maple Leaf is over.

Now for the real reason you started reading this article. Nazem Kadri. What can I say about Nazem Kadri that has not already been said 1000 times by the Toronto media?

He is supposed to be an excellent forward. A dynamic player that the Maple Leafs did not want to pass up on.

Although Kadri technically already made his NHL debut last year in an emergency call up and played a game in which he was not spectacular but solid.
