Stanley Cup Final 2015 Game 2: Live Score, Reaction for Blackhawks vs. Lightning

Jason Garrison scored the game-winning goal off a deflection on the power play midway through the third period to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-3 home win over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The series is now tied one game apiece and shifts to Chicago for a crucial Game 3 Monday night.

Garrison’s game-winner is likely to garner much of the attention, but it was backup goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy who might well have been the hero of the night.

He made five key saves in the final seven-plus minutes in relief of starting netminder Ben Bishop, who was in the locker room receiving treatment, presumably for an injury.

It’s unclear at this time what troubled Bishop, or if he’ll miss any time in the series.

Cedric Paquette opening the scoring just under 13 minutes into the game to give the Lightning a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.
